In addition to Amna’s multi-year responses, building resilient communities, prepared for and equipped to manage crises, Amna provides immediate, rapid response training and support for communities experiencing acute crises, needing urgent training and mentorship.

Given the desperate need for psychosocial support during crises, we work to ensure organizations, reeling from the aftermath of a climate emergency, or living in war zones are equipped with the knowledge and skills to psychologically survive through crises, to process grief and release trauma in real time, and keep hope and strength alive.

Subject to the need and Amna’s capacity, Amna mobilises to provide rapid training, mentorship and wellbeing support to communities in crisis.

We are currently carrying out emergency responses in Palestine and Syria and in the past have responded to crises in Afghanistan, Ukraine, Lebanon, Turkiye, Morocco and Libya.
