What We Do
Strengthening Systems of Care
Trauma doesn’t just affect individuals – it becomes embedded in the systems that shape our lives. War, colonisation, displacement, and economic oppression create deep inequalities, from racial discrimination to gaps in healthcare and education. Without intervention, these structural traumas continue to impact generations, making healing and equity difficult to achieve.
At Amna, we work to break this cycle by embedding trauma-informed and identity-sensitive practices into key systems, ensuring that displaced communities receive care that is safe, responsive, and empowering.
