Cristina Finch Joins RTI’s Board!

We are delighted to welcome Cristina Finch to the Board of Refugee Trauma Initiative (RTI). Cristina is the Head of the Gender and Security Division at DCAF – Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance  and has worked for more than two decades in the field of human rights, including extensive experience at Amnesty International USA and OSCE ODIHR.

I’m excited and honored to join the board of Refugee Trauma Initiative at such a critical point in the organization’s evolution.  RTI’s mission to help refugees rebuild their lives, unrestrained by the emotional impacts of conflict and displacement is needed now, more than ever.  Mental health care is a human right and supporting asylum seekers and refugees to cope with the trauma of what they’ve experienced is work that is close to my heart as a human rights professional.  I look forward to contributing to RTI’s mission, it’s staff, supporters, and the people that we serve, to help heal trauma and build a stronger human community.
